The Three Forms On This Site

There are three places you can send us something, and each one collects a little differently.

Contact form. Your name, email address, the area you are focused on, an optional company name, and whatever you write in the message.

Resource form. To open a download, we ask for your name, email address, the area you are focused on, and optionally your company and a note. Submitting it unlocks the files for the rest of your visit.

Assessment. Your answers and your email address. Nothing is sent to us until you reach the end of the assessment, and then it is sent once, as a single submission.

Source Context

Along with a submission we record which page of this site you sent it from, plus campaign tags in the link you followed if it had any (the standard utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term values). That is the whole list. We do not capture the page you visited before this site, and we do not capture any other part of the web address you arrived on.

How We Use It

To reply to you, to do the consulting work you ask us about, and to understand which of our materials people find useful. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the processors named below.

Submitting a form does not sign you up for a newsletter or a mailing list. There is no automatic list. If we ever start one, joining it will be its own separate, obvious choice.

Who Processes It

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so your submission passes through Cloudflare on its way to us. The submission itself is delivered as an email by Resend, our transactional email provider. From there it sits in the Summit X Digital inbox, hosted on Google Workspace, with the rest of our mail.

Summit Sherpa

Summit Sherpa is an AI guide to our services and work. When you ask a question, the current question and up to three earlier questions from that conversation are sent through Cloudflare to OpenRouter and the AI provider serving the answer. This context helps Sherpa follow the conversation. Please keep personal, financial, account, and other confidential information out of chat.

We request providers that do not use these requests for model training. Processing and retention are also subject to OpenRouter’s and the selected provider’s policies. Sherpa may answer common questions directly from our website without calling an AI provider.

The website keeps the visible conversation in memory while the page is open; it does not save a chat transcript to browser storage or send the chat to our inbox. Chat does not submit a contact form or add you to a mailing list. To discuss a project with our team, use the contact page.

How Long We Keep It

Form submissions stay in our inbox as ordinary email for as long as they are useful to the conversation or the engagement. We have not set a fixed deletion schedule, and we would rather say so plainly than quote a number we do not keep to. You can ask us to delete your submission, subject to any recordkeeping obligations.

What Your Browser Stores

Your assessment answers are kept in your browser's local storage so your results and the contact form still have them if you navigate away. A copy stays on your device; the completed submission is also sent to us as described above.

When you unlock a resource, your browser stores a single yes-or-no flag for the current session so the files stay open while you look around. That flag holds no name, no email address, and nothing else about you. It is scoped to your browser session; your browser controls when that session ends.

Sherpa’s page tips are prewritten and do not send a chat request. Your browser remembers which page tips you have seen for this session, and stores your mute preference until you turn tips back on. These preferences contain no contact details or conversation text.

The motion control also stores a yes-or-no preference for the current browser session. It contains no personal information. Your device's reduced-motion setting always takes priority.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We do not use advertising pixels or an analytics service. Our hosting provider may process technical request information to operate and secure the site.

The Files Themselves

The resource downloads are public files, and the form in front of them is how we start a conversation rather than a security control. Treat the form as an introduction, not a lock.

Your Rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, at team@summitxdigital.com. No particular wording required.
